Aero-Sharp was a Canadian based, Chinese owned solar company that produced solar system components and parts for both residential and commercial arrangements of all sizes. Aero-Sharp no longer trades in Australia and has gone into liquidation, however, the Aero-Sharp solar inverters may still form a part of your solar system.

Although Aero-Sharp products are of sound quality, they and the systems they support can still have errors that need addressing from time to time. Common Aero-Sharp solar inverter error codes

ERROR DESCRIPTION SUGGESTED ACTION
BIT Failure An internal component of the inverter has failed. Contact a solar professional as your inverter will likely need replacing.
System Error An internal component of the inverter has failed. Contact a solar professional as your inverter will likely need replacing.
Ground Fault Likely caused by an earth fault, or the board has fused (if permanent fault). Contact a solar professional to check for an earth fault and, if one is not located, your inverter will likely need replacing.
PV1 Over Volt An internal component of the inverter has failed. Contact a solar professional as your inverter will likely need replacing.
PV2 Over Volt An internal component of the inverter has failed. Contact a solar professional as your inverter will likely need replacing.
Grid Volt Error Blown AC fuse or the AC board may be fused. Contact a solar professional to check for the AC fuse and AC board.
TVS1 Failure An internal component of the inverter has failed. Contact a solar professional as your inverter will likely need replacing.
TVS2 Failure An internal component of the inverter has failed. Contact a solar professional as your inverter will likely need replacing.
PV Over Power An internal component of the inverter has failed. Contact a solar professional as your inverter will likely need replacing.
Grid Freq Error The AC board may have fused or there may be an issue with your energy provider. If the issue happens occasionally, it is likely an energy provider issue. If it is a permanent issue, your inverter will likely need replacing.
Inverter Dead An internal component of the inverter has failed. Contact a solar professional as your inverter will likely need replacing.
